We Utilize Intensive Physical Therapy Effectively

Our most well-known intensive physical therapy program is model of therapy that is most beneficial to help patients who are on the verge of new skills, who are rehabilitating after a major surgery or procedure, or would regress quickly without an intense bout of therapy. Patients are seen 5 days per week for up to 4 hours for up to 4 weeks at a time. It is meant to be short in duration before engaging in home exercise program and/or traditional physical therapy. Participation in intensive therapy requires an application and determination from PT to make sure it is a good fit.

Intensive physical therapy sessions often include using the Universal Exercise Unit, adaptive biking, Euro-Peds suit therapy, whole body vibration, training with assistive devices, massage, sensory integration, and tons of fun!
